Time to Cache In

On October 31, our final geocache of our 11-geocache series was published online. Most of our Travel Bugs are on their way around the world, and the feedback we're receiving could not be more positive! I'm looking into ways to promote our geocaches, but part of the lure of geocaching is that it isn't over-publicized or commercialized to any great extent. To date, our geocaches have been found a total of 71 times, with many of our geocaches only being online for a couple of weeks.

So, maybe I don't need to further promote them. If you build it, they will come. Similarly, if you hide it, they will find it.

I'll be monitoring our our geocaches both online and in the field quite frequently, and it's my hope to launch another small series of geocaches in the spring. These geocaches will most likely be nano-caches, small and camouflaged, and very difficult to find. Although our current geocaches are amazing, admittedly they are a little too easy to find in some cases... well, not this next series...

Boundaries will be pushed, norms will be redefined, and 5/5 difficulty ratings will be abundant!

But for now, enjoy:
